It is the area bordering the Pieve di Spaltenna, a Romanesque building owned by Viticola Toscana. It is the most open and ventilated area, a particularly positive characteristic during the summer as it helps preserve freshness and maintain grapes in perfect health. Here, the soil is rich in gravel, and Vermentino production is concentrated, alongside Sangiovese and small percentages of Malvasia Nera and Merlot.
