The Trebbio vineyard is a CRU in the Meleto sub-zone. The decision to enhance this vineyard stems from the desire to exalt the many expressions of Sangiovese that Castello di Meleto has to offer. Among its rows there are also vines of Ciliegiolo and Colorino, minor varieties, historically used in the Chianti Classico blend, which represent a heritage of biodiversity that Castello di Meleto wanted to preserve.
Il Trebbio becomes the third Chianti Classico Gran Selezione of Castello di Meleto.
